The Beara Peninsula is a grand day out, visit the many Galleries on your tour. Coulagh Bay Cottage is only 8 km. away from the idyllic village of Eyeries, with its characteristic colored houses, originating from Viking influences, where you can do your shopping for daily needs. Only 13 km. away is Castletownbere, a lovely fishing town with plenty shops, restaurants and traditional pubs with food, music and dance. A car ferry runs every day to Bere Island. Only 6 km. away you will find the village of Allihies with its beautiful sandy beach and the famous Copper Mines and museum.
