Over Larix

The detached chalet Larix, with uninterrupted views of the Aletsch Mountains, is situated in a quiet location in Zehnhäuser (ten houses), a small neighborhood with holiday cottages on the outskirts of the village of Bürchen. On the way to the famous Saas Valley in the Valais region, Bürchen is an oasis of tranquility on an Alpine meadow above the Rhône Valley. The medieval trading town of Visp is 12 km away. It offers a beautiful old town and many shops. The popular, car-free tourist resorts of Saas-Fee and Saas-Grund are certainly also worth a visit. From Zermatt, you can take the cable car to Klein Matterhorn. From there, with good weather conditions, you will be able to enjoy a view onto the larger brother with an impressive altitude of 4478 metres. It is recommended to seek the information in advance if the Matterhorn can really be seen on that day. The area of your accommodation is wonderful for hikers and in winter for cross-country skiers. The chalet Larix disposes of a terrace and a garden facing south with garden furniture and picnic table.
