This authentic farmhouse (Agriturismo) is nestled in the Jato valley, in a beautiful area of historic and natural interest, just 20 km from Palermo, well-positioned to reach the neighboring provinces of Trapani and Agrigento. The original farmhouse was built between the late 1400s and early 1500s, when the feudal lord had comfortable houses, a chapel, gardens and vineyards, plenty of water, with two mills and a paper mill. Renovated in 1740 by the architect Venanzio Marvuglia, the complex has architectural features that bear witness to the evolution of the arts and crafts of the time. Today it has become a precious jewel of history and architecture, a comfortable solution for those who would like to combine the comforts of the modern age with the traditional and cultural highlights of the feudal age of Sicily. Guests can also enjoy recreational/sports activities such as tennis and soccer in the multipurpose field of the farm, or relax in the pool while enjoying the spectacular landscape. Children can spend their time in the playground area. Thanks to the rich culinary offering, guests can get to know the pleasures of fine food, in full accordance with the best culinary traditions. The cookery of the farm, in fact, offers courses using local ingredients and the fruits of the over 130-hectare fields under organic cultivation of the company.
