Environment The cottage is on walking distance from the sea, has a beautiful lawn were you can relax and enjoy the views over the surroundings in an unspoiled environment. The bustling historical town of Kenmare is situated 16 km away. Here are many shops, restaurants and pubs.For those interested Kenmare has two golf courses and for those like hiking there are five exhilarating hikes on the Wild Atlantic Way, enjoy here the beauty too. The small village Lauragh is only 10 km away, there you have to visit the well known Derreen Gardens with lush subtropical vegetation and to tour the famous Healy Pass, which goes through rugged mountains withh breath-taking views. You can enjoy traditional Irsih music in the local pubs. Barry's Cottage is the perfect destination to explore the Ring of Beara and Ring of Kerry, both give access to magnificent sea and mountain sceneries. On this route you come also across several art galleries, which are worthwhile to visit.
