Environment The cottage is the place to be for nature lovers to enjoy the tranquilityl in an unspoiled environment, ideal for walking, swimming,fishing,watersports etc. Only 6 km. away is the small village of Lauragh, a small community with pubs and restaurant and with the well-known Derreen Garden with its sub tropical vegetation and the famous Healy Pass through rugged mountains with panoramic views. Seashore Cottage is the ideal place to explore the surroundings and to tour the Ring of Kerry and Ring of Beara, both giving access to magnificent sea and mountain view and its abounds with historical and archaeoloigical sites. For those interested there are golf courses in Kenmare and Castletownbere,and for those like hiking there are five exhilarating hikes on the Wild Atlantic Way, enjoy here the beauty too. However there are many more activities like boating, pony trekking, trout and sea fishing, horse riding etc. Only 20 km away to the Kenmare direction is a Sailing and Adventure Centre in the beautiful setting of Kenmare Bay.
