Kenmare is central for touring the Ring of Kerry and Ring of Beara and its abounds with historical sites and spectacular views, incl. the famous Healy Pass taking you to the South coast of Beara through rugged mountains and the lush sub tropical vegetation of Derreen Garden. Killarney National Park with 10.000 ha. of woodland and magical mountains with spectacular views over the Lakes of Killarney is about 30 km. away. For those interested there are two golf courses in Kenmare and for those like hiking there are five exhilarating hikes on the Wild Atlantic Way, enjoy here the beauty too.
