This newly built cottage is private located just outside the town of Castletownbere on a quiet road with a beautiful mature garden with large lawn. You can enjoy the breathtaking views over the sea just out of your chair, where the fishing trawlers coming and going. Interior The cottage is very welcoming with its open plan kitchen-dining-lounge area. The kitchen is fully equipped and provided with all modern appliances. The dining-lounge area is tastefully decorated and has comfortable furniture. The two upstairs bedrooms are comfortable and are beautiful decorated, the beds are made up with high standard bed linen. Environment The ideal place to be for walking, sailing, fishing and relaxing. Nearby is Castletownbere, a bustling fishing town with plenty shops, pubs and restaurants. Worthwhile to visit is Bere Island by car ferry. This rugged, unspoilt area is blessed with some of the most spectacular sceneries in Ireland. The ideal place to explore the surroundings and to tour the famous Ring of Beara, a scenic driving coastal route with many historical and archaeological sites. Beara is an Artist's Haven and there are numerous Art Galleries to visit. For those interested there is a 9 hole golf course just 5 km. away, a beautiful sandy beach on walking distance and also a large sandy beach in Allihies, only 16 km. away and for those like hiking there are five exhilarating hikes on the Wild Atlantic Way, enjoy here the beauty too. The Dzogchen Beara Retreat Centre is only 15 minutes away and it's run by a worldwide Tibetan Buddhist Organization and open for visitors for classes and meditation (www.dzogchenbeara.org).
