Murphy's Cottage is built in 1926 and renovated over the years to an inviting and cosy cottage for 6 - 8 persons. Located in an unspoiled environment with beautiful views over the surroundings. The large garden area with beautiful lawn and old trees is the place to breathe in the fresh air and to experience the tranquillity. Interior The cottage is nicely decorated and furnished, has a living room with wood burner, open fully equipped kitchen with dining area which has a beautiful natural stone wall with oil heather. The sunroom is the ideal place to relax and to enjoy the beautiful scenery, via the sunroom you come into the patio. The three double bedrooms have plenty storage and the beds are provided with tasteful bed linen. Environment The ideal area for walking and exploring the surroundings with plenty historical sites and to enjoy traditional Irish music in one of the friendly pubs. Just 5 km. away are the famous Cliffs of Moher a magnificence place to visit with rocks high over the Atlantic Ocean where many birds to spot and to admire the beautiful rare flowers. The Burren is an impressing moonscape from limestone, one of the most remarkable landscapes of Ireland, just 30 minutes drive. It's possible to go by boat from Doolin to Inisheer, the smallest island from the famous Aran Islands, worthwhile to visit those Islands. There is a local supermarket, pubs and restaurants and only 800 m away the Kilshanny Cheese farm. For those interested there are many golf courses in the area as, Lahinch, Spanish Point, Ennis etc. Any day arrival possible!
