Over Skotia,

Holiday house Skotia is a terraced Mansion near the city centre of Leyden. From here you can walk along the ancient waterways and canals into the heart of the city, but you're also just a few kilometers away from the North Sea and its beaches. The old university city of Leyden has a lot to offer. It carries its second name 'Museumcity' for a reason, and there are numerous beautiful sites and historical buildings to see. Of course there are many fine restaurants and bars along the canals and the city has a wide variety of shops. Holiday home Skotia is about one century old and is situated along the parallel street of a main street into centre. On the ground floor is the living room with a cosy sitting area and the dining room with a table for six, separated from each other by the authentic sliding doors. The separate kitchen is fit with all necessary appliances. From the kitchen you have access to the typical sheltered city garden, where you can really enjoy the sun. There are two rooms on the first floor. The master bedroom has a double bed, the other room is both study and playing room and has a single bed. The bathroom is fit with a bath. The last bedroom is on the second floor and has two single beds. There is also a separate laundry room. There is an internet connection available and a kids' playground is just a few hundred meters away in the park. From house Skotia you can easily walk into the centre of Leyden. Visit one of the many museums or the recently restored city citadel or one of the many other interesting places. The surroundings of the city are worth a visit as well. You will find all watersport facilities along the Kaag Lakes and the beaches of Noordwijk and Katwijk are nearby too. The Hague is at 20 minutes by car and cities like Haarlem, Amsterdam, Delft and Utrecht are easy to reach to. There is a trainstation at a few hundred meters from the house.
