It is possible to practise various water sports on the Uitgeestermeer, such as sailing and surfing. Are you unable to sail or surf yet? Not to worry, it is possible to get sailing and surfing lessons here! You can take your own boat and moor it in the marina or you can hire a sloop, sailing boat or canoe at the park. You can opt for a wonderful day at the beach of Castricum, Heemskerk or Egmond. Everything can be reached by bicycle and it won't be a problem to hire one.
