Here it is of course all about the beach, which is only a five minute walk away. You can enjoy wonderful relaxing sunny days, or come and blow away the cobwebs on the beach in autumn. During your stay in Egmond aan Zee you can pay a visit to the nearby artist village of Bergen. A day shopping in Alkmaar is also a nice option. Apart from these interesting locations Egmond is also surrounded by natural beauty, so that you can take wonderful walking and cycling trips.
