The well-known Uplandsteig that literally runs past your doorstep is a demanding hiking route of 64 km, which forms a closed circuit around Willingen. On the way you will pass through different landscapes and all the nine villages in the municipality of Willingen. At about 200 m behind the house, you can use a barbecue hut. Next to it is there is a public footbath that will do some good to your feet and joints.
