At less than an hour's drive from Koblenz, you will find the cottage Brigitte in the village of Udler. The cute town of Daun, which is certainly worth a visit, is located at just 6 km from your holiday home. You are staying in the Volcanic Eifel, one of the most beautiful and unspoiled landscapes in Europe. Within a radius of 5 km you will find a wide variety of volcanic lakes for which this area is known, and which invite the visitors to go hiking, swimming and fishing. This region also offers many other recreational opportunities. At about 500 meters from the cottage, for example, you will find the Maare-Mosel Cycle Trail, a 52-km route that has been designed specifically for cyclists and inline-skaters. The famous Eifelsteig is a popular trail for experienced hikers. At 25 km from your holiday home you can visit the Nürburgring with its infamous Nordschleife, the largest motor racing circuit in Europe. In the period from mid-May to mid-September there are all kinds of celebrations and sporting activities being organized in Daun and in Udler, and in early August there is a fair held in Daun. Your landlords run a farm not far from your holiday home. They cordially invite you to come and see them and you are welcome to have a look around and say hello to the cows. The children may take a ride on the tractor and they will certainly have lots of fun in the large garden and in the barn.
