Holiday Village Chapteuie is located 20 km from the city of Puy-en-Velay and just 1 km from the town of Saint Julien Chapteuil. The holiday village is situated at an altitude of 915m and consists of 40 apartments, each with a private terrace. Facilities of the park include a reception with tourist information, free WIFI area, library, TV room, game room with table tennis and table football, sports grounds for volleyball, basketball and football, a playground, swimming pool with children's area, a laundry and parking. The pool is open from mid-June to late September. You can request a free baby kit (crib, baby bath, highchair). You can also book a free baby holder, bottle warmer and games. For an extra fee you can book a linen set, bathroom set and/or final cleaning. You can also rent a TV and/or phone for your apartment. For children there are child / youth clubs depending on age, ranging from 3 to 14 years old. In winter (December-March) there is a special decorated children's corner for children from 3 years of age. Each week there is an excursion in the vicinity. In winter (December - March) there is even an organized tour where on the way back you will receive tea, hot chocolate and wine. In the afternoons you will find activities like a regional market and an exhibition by local artists. For evening entertainment there are organized programs like folk nights, films from the region, etc.
This area is best known for its ski trails which are located 10 km from the village. For alpine skiing you have to go a little further, about 25 km. You can rent ski equipment.
Pets are allowed but only if reserved and they have a current vaccination certificate. Dogs such as pit bulls, etc. are not allowed.
