Moreover, the Oversum, a multi-functional complex with sauna, wellness facilities and various indoor and outdoor swimming pools is only 200 metres from here. Winterberg is the winter-sport resort in Sauerland with a total of 40 km of ski pistes. The centre of Winterberg is excellent for shopping and you can enjoy the many restaurants and welcoming pavement cafes. There are also many possibilities for cycling, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and walking. For example, the well-known walking route of “Rothaarsteig” goes straight through Winterberg. In addition, the “Kahler Asten” is surrounded by a beautiful cross-country skiing area with 120km of ski runs. There are also plenty activities for children: for example a visit to the adventure park of Fort Fun (25 km) or having fun on the summer toboggan runs and many great mini-golf courses.
