Fauna Hotel was born as a new tourist-cultural project, which proposes to value the heritage city of Valparaiso. Regarding the architecture of the hotel, this is a true reflection of the heritage of the port city, as it is situated on two houses over 100 years old, which together with innovative and modern vision of their designers has created the very concept of Fauna Hotel Restaurant. Also this is a project that has chosen to reuse materials as much of the house where it is inserted, as from other houses in the city ground, creating a modern and avant-garde proposal, through art and architecture. In the heart of the heritage area of Cerro Alegre, in the most tourism sector and 5 minutes from Valparaiso plan, is located Dimalow passage which connecting the Almirante Montt. Fauna Hotel is carefully inserted in this walk-viewpoint, and hides for its guests stunning views over the city, the hills and the bay. Spacious and comfortable, all rooms have private bathrooms, each designed and decorated with a unique style. The rooms retain the character and design of the old buildings typical port city, which is mixed with a contemporary and innovative air.Additional Charges: Non-Chilean residents are exempted from VAT (Value-Added Tax) payment on room prices upon check out. Non-residents will be asked for a photocopy of their valid passport and immigration card ("Tarjeta de Turismo") upon arrival.
