The authentic Ardennes La Ferme le Cheval farm is situated in Rogery (Gouvy), close to the Vielsalm in the Belgian Ardennes. The farm is over 300 years old and the owner has renovated the entire home with real Ardennes materials, such as clay, Ardennes oak and stone. Inside you will have both a sauna and an open fireplace at your disposal. La Ferme le Cheval is located in peaceful, afforested surroundings. There are three living sections, each with a welcoming and cosy seating area. One of the living sections comes with a nice stove and a large dining table. There are two kitchens, a comfortable bathroom and four spacious bedrooms. In addition there is a large Finnish sauna. Outside you will find the courtyard and the stables and hay-lofts. Enjoy a nice barbecue and the peace and quiet and space whilst the children are having fun on the trampoline or in the garden. The owner of La Ferme le Cheval holiday home is a lover and breeder of American Quarter Horses. You can bring along your own horse as there are stables and meadows available. The surrounding area is ideal for nice walks, cycling or horse-back riding trips. Rogery is a nostalgic village, typical of the Ardennes. Vielsalm is nearby and here you can enjoy the many welcoming pavement cafes and excellent restaurants. Houffalize, Durbuy and La Roche are also within easy reach.
