Environment: On the outskirts of Aix en Provence, in a peaceful residential area.

PLACES TO VISIT:
Aix en Provence. 7 km. Stunningly beautiful and vibrant city, distinctively Provencal, with sunny squares filled with cafes, broad avenues lined with gigantic plane trees and tempting restaurants, and a substantial historical centre with elegant shops and attractive houses.
Ventabren. 15 km. Pretty village perched on the top of a hill and overlooked by the ruins of its chateau. Set amidst pine forests and beautiful Provencal countryside, the village also boasts the largest stone aqueduct in the world.
Pertuis. 25 km. Delightful town with impressive architecture and historic past, narrow and colourful streets, tastefully restored old houses as well as vaulted arches and many fountains... Gateway to the Lubéron.
Marseille. 35 km. Second largest city in France, cosmopolitan and exuberant, renowned for its picturesque old port and Bouillabaisse (a tomato based soup with fish and shellfish).

THINGS TO DO:
Le Village des Automates, St Cannat. 10 km. Theme park taking you to the magical world of automatons. Also adventure park and pet farm.
Parc Zoologique La Barben, La Barben. 20 km. Zoo with bout 800 exotic animals (rhinos, elephants, giraffes, crocodiles) and Vivarium, aquarium, aviary and a small tourist train to transport you around the whole park.
Paintball Meyreuil, Meyreuil. 25 km. Paintballing. Come and spend a day surrounded by nature and play paintball on more than one hectare of land.
Accro Passion, Salon de Provence. 25 km. Tree top adventure park for climbing adventures.

FURTHER AFIELD:
Carry le Rouet. 45 km. Charming seaside resort with lovely beaches, clear waters and picturesque little fishing port at the foot of pine covered hills, in the heart of the Côte Bleue. Perfect for walks along the seaside.
St Rémy de Provence. 60 km. As picturesque and Provencal as can be, with narrow winding streets, shady squares, fantastically old fountains, elegant shops, art galleries and plenty of bars and restaurants. The village and surrounding countryside has inspired many artists including Van Gogh who produced more than 150 paintings of the area. Also birthplace of Nostradamus.
Arles. 70 km. Vibrant city of festivals, art and culture, with extraordinarily well-preserved Roman arena (the very same that was the scene of the Roman games in the 1st century!), backed by an equally impressive variety of other stones and monuments, both Roman and medieval. Linked with Gaugain, Van Gogh and Picasso.
Avignon. 75 km. Historic fortified city famous for its papal history will charm you with its ancient streets, spectacular monuments and museums, theatre and impressive number of cafes and restaurants. Its famous bridge still stands over the river Rhone.
